加压后的风再分别通过每层的百叶窗或风阀送往每层的前室或楼梯间。当消防前室或楼梯间的通风压力或压差超过设定值（前室25~30pa，楼梯间40-50pa）时，位于每层的压力传感器顺即时发出信号报警输入旁通泄压阀控制箱，电梯前室微压差压力传感器安装位置，旁通泄压阀控制箱根据压力传感器的信号打开旁通泄压阀，旁通泄压阀打开后，部分加压送风机送往风管的风通过旁路风管经过旁通泄压阀回到风机前端（红色箭头位置）

为了有效抑制火势蔓延、阻止烟气扩散。正压送风系统的送风口出风可使楼梯间及消防电梯前室形成正压，阻挡有害烟气进入人的疏散通道。但是当正压送风系统送风量及送风时间不可控时，压力传感器安装位置，正常的逃生路线有可能会因为前室正压过大，防火门无法开启的---后果。鉴于上述考虑，部四川消防科学研究所结合国际经验提出余压值的数据。压力控制系统可通过控制旁通阀的开闭，将机械加压送风系统的压力值有效控制在要求的合理范围内-----防烟楼梯间40-50pa，前室、合用前室、消防电梯间前室、封闭避难层(间)为25-30pa。这样既阻止了有害烟气的进入，也---了防火门在需要人员疏散时可以正常开闭。
